How do I register for the ISAT?
You must first create an ACER account, register for ISAT through it, and pay the AUD435 registration fee. Afterward, you will register for a ProctorU account and wait for an invitation to book your test session with ProctorU.
What is the ISAT ID?
When you register to sit ISAT with ACER, you are provided with an ISAT ID. It will be included in your initial confirmation email and via your ACER account. The ISAT ID must be quoted on your tertiary admissions applications.
Can I defer my ISAT registration?
Yes, you can defer your ISAT registration to any future test window within the testing period. A deferral request will incur a deferral fee of AUD72, and you may only defer your sitting once.
Can I resit the exam?
The last 2 days of each test window are reserved for resits only. However, test takers may only register 12 months after their previous sitting has elapsed.
What if I need reasonable adjustments?
If you have a disability or health-related need, you should apply for reasonable adjustments as soon as possible after completing your registration. Strict deadlines apply for each test window.
How is the ISAT administered?
All ISAT test sessions will be conducted via remote proctoring through ProctorU. Test takers can sit ISAT from any suitable location that meets the technical requirements of the test.
